Our Process

Post Grad Housing Solutions, Inc. is the only apartment search firm focused exclusively on recent graduates. We understand the unique needs of first time renters and have tailored a process that ensures you are well informed, well taken care of, and well on your way to a smooth transition into the real world at no cost to you.

STEP 1

Fill out the information sheet on our Get Started page, or reach out to us directly by phone or email. Someone will call/email you back within 24 hours.

Step 3:

Our housing consultants get to work identifying apartments that meet your criteria. Our goal is to take on all the leg work, so you can enjoy your final months of school. We will communicate with you as much or as little as you want.

Step 5:

We will help you gather all of the information and materials you will need for the application process for when you do find the perfect apartment.

Step 2:

A brief conversation with one of our housing consultants to go over your needs and wants, specific neighborhoods, setting a budget, and answering any preliminary questions.

Step 4:

Regardless of how far away you are from being able to sign a lease, we are happy to take you on scouting trips to various neighborhoods and buildings to better familiarize you with the Chicago market. (This is optional)

Step 6:

8 weeks out from your target move date, we will start scheduling showings at specific units that meet the criteria established in the previous steps. We will drive you to and accompany you on all showings.

STEP 7

Once you have found the apartment you want to make your home, our housing consultants will assist you in completing the required application/background check process.

We will maintain an open line of communication with you up to and until move- in, helping you with whatever we can and providing you with any referrals or recommendations for services you might need for a smooth transition from campus to Chicago. Our job is not done until you are settled and happy in your new Chicago home.
